You've heard about it, you've read about it, you've nearly pissed your pants about it (or not) - ladies and gentlemen, shamblers and fiends, I give you... GYROBOXES VIDEOS!!! :D Here are three short vids (excuse the quality :\) showing off what i've been busying myself with lately. Basically the gyroboxes(tm) make use out of gyro physics (duh) to interact with world objects and each other. Check out these 3 videos I've compiled, I'm sure you'll enjoy em ^^

Well after a little while of feeling like an evil mad scientist and devouring many corn chips, I implemented the Gyro physics plugin by QuakeMatt into MegaTF and the results were.. well.. Fun! ;) I got on with a couple guys and we spawned shell crates all over the map, making buildings and generally annoying the hell out of each other. Afterwards I took a couple screenies of some detpack action for your mass enjoyment:

Sorry for the lack of updates guys, but I've been a bit busy with real life stuff and also some new code I got my hands on ^^ I was meaning to release a little surprise for yall but I guess it may have to wait a bit, but you know what they say: "good things coem to those who wait" ;) Anyhoo, one of the projects I've been working on recently is ETF. For those of you who dont know it, ETF is a Team Fortress mod for the game Enemy Territory (based on q3f). This is a small mod which makes rockets a bit more fun to fire :) Also, no, the big surprise is not MegaTF for ETF, but some of you still may have fun with this ;) Enjoy!

Well day 3 seems to have gotten some good responses, and I'm really happy to see it and hope you're all enjoying the new releases. I guess it's not too late to mention you can play the latest MegaTF CE and United, respectively, on the Amnesia Game Network (no website yet :\) at 209.9.227.18:27502 (United) and 209.9.227.18:27500 (CE). And what will today's booth update bring? Well, glad you asked! Today I'll be posting some realtime lights files for those of you using FTE or DarkPlaces to play tf. Note that these will work for any tf mod as long as whatever server you join supports realtime lights usage. Let the graphics begin >:D
Day 4 Update:
Got 3 RTLights files for ya: 2fort5, 2mach1, and well6. 2fort5 and 2mach1 are done by me, and the well6 one is generated by DP. Also I got some cool screenshots for yall, so those of you still wondering if reinstalling quakeworld/megatf is worth it, this should help ya decide :p Nab the RTL files at the bottom of the page and extract them to fortress/maps/. Enjoy!

Hi everybody, avirox (aka XavioR) here! I'm sure many of you may not know me, as i am rather new to Quake coding (started last year) and to the mod community but I've gotten to make a lot of acquaintances and friends during my short time programming Quake/DP-C. I have worked on projects such as MegaTF United, MegaTF Clan Edition, and Nexuiz 1.5. My QC programming mainly revolves around improving/modding Megatf (originally crated by Ambush), and that is what this booth is dedicated to. My newest rendition of MegaTF is dubbed Clan Edition (CE), made specifically for clan matches within the current MegaTF community and the future one. MegaTF:CE addresses several issues which those who disliked MegaTF for XYZ reason will be quite happy about. I have added several anti-cheat built-ins, and have added wider compatability for playing megatf on all servers (mainly FTE servers and CPQWSV). The complete changelog for Clan Edition currently is as follows:

- Clan Prematch mode added; In server.cfg (or server console) set "localinfo clan_prematch <#value>". The #value you assign the "clan_prematch" variable will affect how many players are required to be "ready" for the game to start. You can also set this variable to "on".
- Sniper Rifle priming time (IE the amount of time you must prime the sniper rifle for it to do full damage) is 3 seconds. Yes, it was ALWAYS 3 seconds, but there is a bug in TF (quakeworld really) that made the priming time longer for those with lower framerates.
- Spy grapple speed is not affected when the player is tranq'd or suffers a leg injury
- Sticky Grenades (IE where you fire a weapon like the tranq gun and you cant throw the grenade right away) are fixed
- FTE Rankings in. "showstats" in console, or impulse 69 to view your own stats.
- New CMD functions:
1) CMD showready - shows all players who are ready to play during clan prematch, and also shows who is not
2) CMD showrank - shows the rank of a player (only for FTE servers!)
- New cvar added: "throwflag" allows players to throw the flag/goal item, alternative to "dropflag" (which also still works)
