Qfusion engine
The main goal of the project is to create a Quake III Arena-like (and even better) engine, usable for open-source games, films, demos, etc. Recently released sources of Quake2 (GPL) are used as a codebase. The homepage of the project is located at http://hkitchen.quakesrc.org/ Bla-bla-bla...
This release was specially crafted for the 10th Anniversary Quake QExpo.
Quake was one the major sources of inspiration for me during these years and I finally couldn't resist taking part in this celebration.
QuakeC was the first programming language I leart. I remember I asked my mother back in 1997 to print the 'QuakeC Manual' at her work (we didn't have a printer at that time at home). I didn't have an access to my computer back to the summer of 1997 so I was trying to code something cool with a pen and paper. It was very exciting.
I would like to say 'Thank You!' for Id Software for making this happen. And I would also like to say 'Thank You!' to all those fellow modders, coders, gamers, etc who have been very helpful and supportive all these years. Oh, and of course, I'd like to thank my past-clanmates: I miss you.

Sincerely yours,
Vic
