Planet Freeware Home | Pinball Map Contest

Planet Freeware is a new freeware gaming community site providing all the best news, reviews, and interviews from the freeware gaming community. The freeware gaming community has exploded in recent years and the Quake source has provided us with such great games as Tremulous, Alien Arena, Warsow, and Nexuiz. All these games are reviewed and interviews have been conducted with Irritant of Alien Arena and the staff of Warsow shedding some interesting light on the future of these great games. We are a new site and we aspire to bring the freeware community together in a productive place where we can chat, collaborate, find new games, and play our favorites!

A Quake mod section is in the works for Planet Freeware and will include reviews, screenshots, and possibly video of all the mods the community is producing. All our reviews are first reviewed by the author of the review then logged in members of the site can review it as well. Not only can you read reviews at Planet Freeware, you can also write reviews and contribute to the greater knowledgebase. There are forums and an irc channel might be implemented in the future. I'd love to see these great freeware games get more traffic and more players and that is why I created Planet Freeware. So come check us out and tell us what you think on the forums!
